What We Offer

BUM Large Group

Thursdays at 6:00 PM single young adults, between 18-25, who have completed high school are invited for a meal, Bible study, and fellowship.

We meet weekly during the semester (loosely following the LLC calendar for breaks)

For our summer schedule, please contact the director.

Small Groups

Each semester we encourage students to sign up and commit to a small group book study that meets weekly.

We have several groups that meet on various times and days and cover topics such as theology, how to study your Bible, evangelism, apologetics, spiritual disciplines, and worship.

These small groups meet for 8-12 weeks depending on which book is being used. Each small group is a 1 semester commitment.

Extra Events & Service Projects

Jason and JoLee offer many extra events throughout the year. Depending on interest, options include: finance and budgeting, cooking classes, guys-only accountability, girls-only activities, craft nights, games nights, worship nights, open mic nights, one-on-one discipleship and mentoring, as well as service projects throughout the area.

Study Space

The BUM facility offers places for students to come and study between classes or before or after their small group. Sometimes they come for a quiet spot to work alone, while others utilize the space for group projects or classmates gather to study for tests together.  The basement is filled with comfy couches, and beanbags for the relaxed living room feel as well as a couple of small tables for more serious work.  Upstairs is set up with community workspace tables that can serve many needs.  Both spaces in the BUM facility are equipped with a bathroom and kitchenette, complete with a refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven for student use.

Fun & Fellowship:

The BUM facility is a gathering place for our students to hang out and talk, play a game of ping pong, watch a show or sporting event on the 12’x12’ movie screen in the basement, or grab a group and play one of the many board games available.

Student Housing:

Located just minutes away from campus, next door to the BUM facility and the Director’s home is a duplex that serves as Christian housing for up to 8 students. Each side of the duplex has 2 bedrooms, 2 full baths, a washer and dryer, a furnished kitchen, a living room, a dining room, and an office/study room. In addition, each side has a small chest freezer, shared storage space, and plenty of parking.

Students interested in living in BUM housing must agree to the Code of Conduct and go through an interview process after completing the written application. Current students in good standing who choose to renew their housing lease are given the first opportunity, then new applicants are interviewed to fill any remaining housing slots each spring. We cannot guarantee that housing will be offered for both male and female applicants each year. This is dependent on who chooses to renew leases as well as incoming applications. For more information about student housing lease options and pricing, please contact us.
