BUM is located in a picturesque golf course setting just minutes from Lake Land College.  Eastern Illinois University is less than 15 minutes away.

The BUM house is like home.  We are family. Students enjoy a rich social life that enhances their college experience as well as their spiritual life.

Our Facility

The BUM duplex is adjacent to the Beyond Us Ministries Director’s Home and Ministry Facility.  Helping hands, a listening ear, or a compassionate friend are just steps away. The BUM Ministry common area provides a place to gather with friends for a game of ping pong, bible study, or a movie.

Housing

The BUM student residence is comprised of a duplex with separate living spaces for men and women.  Each space houses up to four students and is furnished with a kitchen, living, and bedroom space. Laundry facilities are provided in each unit. Additional space is available for quiet study areas and storage.  Ample parking is available on the BUM property at no charge to the students.

Becoming a BUM

BUM housing provides comfortable and affordable living in a Christ-centered environment.  The duplex is open to Christian students who are enrolled at Lake Land or Eastern Illinois University.
